- It was my sister's sixteenth birthday yesterday - it's really kind of scary to think that she's sixteen! Anyway, we had a nice day - played some trivial pursuit, watched some DVDs and just had general family time, really. I go back to uni today. The thing is, I like uni but I have exams in May and essays for May and I know for a fact that the next month or so is going to be soooooo hectic. For those of you who were talking to me about it, the babies have both been born now - two boys, one day after another and I've seen pictures and they're both gorgeous. Looking forward to actually meeting them and getting a cuddle!

My day so far consisted of:

• Lots of English
• Learning some Norwegian words
• A seminar in which we talked about Supernatural, Sherlock, Dr Who, Being Human and fanfiction (I think I'm going to enjoy this module!)

The rest of my day will consist of:

• Coffee with a friend in about an hour
• Helping at Brownies

Having a productive day today - I've typed up my timetable for semester two (about time, considering I start on Tuesday!) and started writing up a list of what I'm going to need to do for each week. Hopefully it'll help me organise my time better. I need to read Beowulf for Tuesday, though, so my next priority is starting that. I've done some stuff ( Read more... )

It's my day off uni today so I've been (or trying to be!) productive at home. I've done some more editing to my essay that's due on Monday - it's still over the word count limit but it's within the 10% leeway now so I should be okay.
